Visual Studio Community For Mac How To Install Nunit Test Adapter

Unfortunately, fixing that issue was very urgent, so I end up with uninstalling Visual Studio 2017 15.5 and installing 15.6 preview 1. That fixed issue with unit tests. Hi, I've been trying to get my code coverage to work with TFS 2015 and VNext builds. I use nUnit 3.0 for the unittests which works perfect.

But when I check the option 'Code Coverage Enabled' I get the message (from vstest): 'Warning: Diagnostic data adapter message: Could not find diagnostic data adapter 'Code Coverage'. Make sure diagnostic data adapter is installed and try again.' I have installed the following nUnit dll's under 'C: Program Files (x86) Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0 Common7 IDE CommonExtensions Microsoft TestWindow Extensions ': • Mono.Cecil.dll • nunit.core.engine.dll • nunit.engine.api.dll • nunit.engine.dll • NUnit3.TestAdapter.dll I have also tried passing the location of the dll's in 'Path to custom test adapters'. You need to check what you installed on xaml build agent, make sure you also install them on vNext build agent. It seems that you don't install the proper adapter for vNext build agent. You need to get the proper Nuit test adapter version and check if the version you used is supported for your visual studio. NUnit 3.0 adapter for integrated test execution under Visual Studio 2012 (all updates), Visual Studio 2013 (all updates), and the Visual Studio 2015 Preview and CTPs. Compatible with NUnit 3.0. Hi Robin, Do you mean if you don't run test within TFS build, you have issue with VStest for code coverage testing? Please check whether you will have same issue when running test on the build agent machine with visual studio. If manual test on visual studio also have issue, y ou may get better support from forum.
