Re: Office for Mac 2011 and 2016 compatibility with High Sierra said by rugby: We are migrating somebody from an on-premises Exchange 2010 server to Office 365 and most of their users are on. Office for Mac 2011 Update 14.3.4 brings better compatibility with Microsoft's Office 365 subscription service along with bug fixes and improvements.

I added Scrivener 2.8.1.2; it opens the file but the documents are shown in a small window in the lower left corner of the screen. Makes it impossible to edit. Oddly, full screen mode will show the document and can be edited, but the app crashes within minutes. This is sort of depressing as I use Scrivener a lot. I may need to see how a Time Machine restore goes. (I backed up prior to the install of High Sierra.) But I'll wait it out for a week or two and see if there are other updates from either macOS or Scrivener (not likely) and just use something else to write for the moment. Download java for mac free. I ran Microsoft Update for Office 2016 and checked the Insider Preview box and it updated all of office to 15.36.

Sierra

Now Outlook works again. Converted my Scrivener manuscript to Storyist 3.4.3 and that works.
