The Games Madden NFL 2000 has something to suit just about every football fan that’s out there. For those who like to get right into the game and air out the pigskin, there’s the Arcade mode. To the football purist, the thought of an arcade mode may seem like a perversion.
Let me set the record straight—Arcade mode is not like NFL Blitz for the PlayStation or Nintendo 64. Both teams have eleven players on the field, there are no body slams, there are penalties, and the players look like players, not genetic mutants.
